About the fuse box
Lear’s Battery Fuse Box mounts at the battery and provides first-level protection for wires and vehicle subsystems. Its integrated multi-fuse design supports fuse ratings up to 400 A for different loads.
Lear reports key OEMs recognition for its fuse technology.

Design and assembly
Flexible multi-fuse power distribution
Lear’s Battery Fuse Box supports multiple fuse technologies, including VariaFuse, MEGA, Micro, M-Case and integrated multi-fuse solutions, allowing the configuration to be adapted to different vehicle loads and customer requirements. Overmolded busbars, bolts, bushings, inserts and terminals are integrated into the assembly to reduce the number of separate components and eliminate additional connections between the busbar and fuses.
A battery-mounted plastic bracket with noise-suppressing features provides quick, reliable and quiet fixation without additional screws. The solution supports efficient assembly and high-volume vehicle production while reducing material usage, package weight and system complexity.
